Itinerary
Join us for an exciting 4-day safari to see gorillas and chimpanzee. Walk through beautiful forests, watch the animals up close, and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature. It’s a special adventure you’ll never forget.
Day 1: Pickup from Entebbe and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Meet your guide and begin your 4-day Uganda safari early in the morning from Kampala. Get ready for a long drive—about nine hours in total. On the way, you’ll stop at the equator for photos and enjoy lunch in either Masaka or Mbarara, depending on the timing. The journey then continues to Bwindi, home of the mountain gorillas, passing through the scenic “neck” of the impenetrable forest with breathtaking views along the way.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Day- Bwindi NP and transfer to Ishasah Sector.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is the home to the forest giants that are cousins to human beings, the gorillas and the first highlight of this 4 days Uganda safari is to trek the mountain gorillas. Have an early breakfast before setting off for your gorilla trekking adventure with a specialized guide. Besides the gorillas this Impenetrable Forest is full of birds, butterflies and plant species plus forest hog, forest elephants, statungas and dikers. Enjoy the walk through the forest and spend one hour around the gorillas. After the gorilla trek your guide picks you and you make the journey to the lodge by the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park. The Ishasha sector is known for its tree-climbing lions, a behavior that these big cats only have in a few places.

Day 3: Ishasha Game-Drive and afternoon Boat Cruise-Kazinga Channel.
In the early morning we head in to Ishasha to search for tree-climbing lions in the fig-trees, but also to see buffaloes, elephants, topis and more. Our journey on this 4 days Uganda safari then continues with the exciting drive to the main part of Queen Elizabeth NP with chance of seeing baboons and other monkeys along the way.After lunch we head for a classic highlight of the 3pm 2hrs Boat cruise on the famous Kazinga channel, a 36kms channel linking Lake George to Lake Edward. From the boat you can spot land and water adapted Hippopotamuses yawning and some slashing canines to each other, the National Geographical society killing machine the Nile Crocodile gaping along the banks, savannah version of Pigs the Warthog- Pumba of the award winning Lion King are a hallmark sign in this animal home as well as many different birds.

Day 4: Chimp Trekking in Kyambura Gorge and transfer to Entebbe.
After breakfast we leave the lodge and drive over to Kyambura Gorge. Here you enter the forest in a group with a specialized guide to experience a jungle walk and search for chimpanzees. After the trek you continue on the journey to Kampala/Entebbe. Have lunch along the way and get back to Kampala/Entebbe in the late afternoon as your guide drops you from the 4 days Uganda safari.
